A Wedding...

July is a time for celebrating unions...new start for a life choosing one road, together.  The wedding ceremonies and receptions I have been blessed to share with music are timeless for me.  A fork in the road where we all choose one direction and dream of the future it holds.  Even in quarantimes, our sense of belonging and one heart is filled by these rituals, and the flow of infinite love undampened by virtual or altered live events.

This poem was written for one of my most cherished human friends, who long ago started entwining her deep roots with another, staking a claim in a forest of truth and goodness.  Knowing them them as strong individuals,  I have solid trust in their ability as a couple to weather the storms and enjoy the cycles of living together.  Blessings to all who are carving conscious paths into the future during this summer of 2020.  I hope you choose to shine with God's own face, with light and grace in this world we share.
