Suzie shared a video with me week before last, coincidentally shortly after I published a Tuesday post, “Some People Call Me the Space Cowboy”.
[Virginia asked me where the Steve Miller Band came from… “The Joker”? Little known fact: some people call me Maurice.]
Sometimes I think I inhale content. Certainly enjoyed exploring the work of Teal Swan*, and her Truth video is one to pass around.
*Appears there is some controversy about Ms. Swan…DYOR, people. Time to let go of the gurus I think.
At once complex and clear, it parallels the insight in the post: hurt can not be avoided, and lies can. The video describes the chaos, destruction, and pain resulting from the human pattern of avoiding the truth for the temporary “feeling good”.
In the video, the “truth” is a demonstration of “what is”.
What is, “What is”?
That’s for another post, or 27 posts, and really I’m not the greatest source for wtf “is”.
AND, maybe “what is” is a truth. Of many truths, which from another perspective may appear to be lies.
AND, we do share a collective reality, that is a level of truth, which denying is just dumb.
For me, I am a consciousness explorer, having journeyed over and under and around and through “realities” for fun. Not always fun I guess, but sure makes me feel like I am getting my money’s worth on this Earth Life VIP package.
As Magellan of my mind I have “lived” in a woeful reality of dark filters, a “normie” world of doctors and churchgoers, a bubbly and terrifically ungrounded “high vibe” life (those were my vegan days - I felt light as air…), and a fantastic variety of variations of the theme of “life”.
I cracked up years ago watching an Abraham Hicks’ video on mental illness and bipolar disorder, in which she cracks up…in her lighthearted playful approach to human mental constructs, she states that “bipolar is close…more like multi-polar” is the healthy human condition. Meaning that as a human, the capacity for emotional depth allows a wholeness most don’t dare to dip a toe into…having molded life into “stable” personality structure in grade school.
Such a funny hypocrisy - the folks that believe themselves “static”, projecting judgement onto the waffley ones, while making exceptions for their personal deviancy…but I digress….
“Personal truth” is a catchphrase in this modern New Agey era, so what does it mean? A subjective reality bubble of what makes sense to you? How far is that bubble from the sea of collective bubbles of individuality? Floating high above in the ether? Flowing tumbling end-over-bubble-end with the mass of humanity-bubbles in the confluence of the Venn diagram of our shared reality?
I’ll let you check this out, and consider what is “true” for you…
